
In this episode of the show and I sit down with my very special guest Joe De Sena. Many of you know him as the founder and CEO of Spartan Race. He is one of the most hardworking and down to earth people that I have met. 



We sit down fireside, literally, in the lobby of the Squaw Valley Ski Resort. It can be a little noisy at times but thats life isn’t it? Our conversation is one that ranges from why Spartan Race began all the way to the proper way to start your day.

There aren’t too many people like Coach Mo. He spends his days working with adaptive athletes and C level executives- helping them to cope with the stresses of their own respective lives. There is usually quite a contrast there and Mo knows just how to handle it. 



Based in Dallas, Texas with over 24 years of experience in the field of health and wellness, Morris Brossette is a jack of all trades. When it comes to working with individuals who are in need of guidance, direction and a friend there is no comparison. 



His tireless efforts with the injured veteran athletes at the Adaptive Training Foundation can be felt when speaking with those who work with him. People who have found their true strength after losing one or all of their limbs can be overjoyed at the types of things that you or I might take for granted. Because of this they have found more strength than I will ever know. Because of the work that Mo and his team do these, and others, have found the secret to living a healthy, wealthy life.

Ep #5: Gettin’ Mo with Coach Mo.

Lil Misty Diaz is a Female force to be reckoned with.  I recently had the privilege to sit down with one of the most inspiring athletes that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is the unofficial Queen of Overcoming Obstacles and after our conversation I am nominating her for the official status. 



My friend Misty Diaz joins us today and she is an incredibly power woman who I am fortunate to have crossed paths with. She was born with MYelo-menin-jo-sele is a birth condition in which the backbone and spinal canal do not close before birth.Myelomeningocele the most serious form of Spina Bifida and it affects 1 in every 4,000 children. 



In 1984 Misty began her battle that would eventually define her as the magnificent person that she is today. After conquering a series of 28 operations, she discovered what would become her true strength and with a small step towards that …a huge life change. One day she began to walk from her house to the next block. Then the next day the block after that. She then got into competing in races and has never looked back. 



When she’s not racing, she’s training, mentoring kids with SB, encouraging other adaptive athletes, speaking in schools, or planning her next trip. One of her dreams is to race internationally and some day soon she will be creating a 5k Walk/Run to support those who are in need and living with Spina Bifida.



She is truly the embodiment of drive and success and we can all take a page or two from her book- She is one of the most vibrant people and knows just how to get busy living. I hope that you all learn from and enjoy my conversation Lil Misty.

This episode is a mirror of a show that aired on the Honest Ghost Podcast. As some of you know my primary occupation is as a health and Wellness Expert. Someone thought I was doing a good job so they reached out to interview me about what my process and methodology look like.

Episode #3 (#173):             The Honest Ghost


I love OCR and I love athletics but for some time now I have felt constrained by the subject matter that was the title of the show itself. There is just too much that interests me to limit my focus specifically OCR.



That being said I would like to introduce “The Philip Levi Show: Understanding Health, Wealth and Life“.  The show features guests from various fields and in the exploration of their backgrounds I aim to bring their experience to the audience. Through conversation and experience I bring to you the opportunity to learn and grow along with us.  At the forefront of my interest is bringing the stories of my guests to you in the hopes that their knowledge provides you with some insight and benefit that you can apply to your daily life. I will also explore what seems to make people content in their lives. With the launch of this show I also aim to explore the path pursued towards what makes people truly happy.
