After The Rallies: What Can Actually Stop Gendered Violence

Thirty four. At the time of publication that’s how many women in Australia have lost their lives to gendered violence in 2024.

At the end of April hundreds of thousands of women and their allies marched in rallies across the country calling for an end to the violence.

But what happens now? is there a clear path forward to ensure the safety of women and girls in Australia?

Today we find out what needs to be done to stop gendered violence.
