On this episode of They Walk Among America… At 3:18 PM on January 13th, 1996, Arlington police received a call from 78-year-old Jimmie Kevil, a retiree living on Ruth Street for over 50 years. Kevil told the 911 dispatcher that he had just seen a man driving a black pickup abduct a little girl off of her bicycle close to his house. Arlington police officers arrived at the scene within minutes, and as they retrieved the girl’s bike, a man pulled up and told them, “That’s my granddaughters bike”. Her name was Amber Hagerman…
