A new study has found that almost half of all golf club members in the UK are paying more than £1,000 a year for that privilege, up from roughly one in five in 2018 – but amidst a cost of living crisis, just how sustainable is that?

So, there we have it. PGA Tour players who ‘stayed loyal’ to the PGA Tour in the aftermath of LIV’s emergence now know how much they’re going to be rewarded with. Tiger Woods is set to receive $100m. There’s $50m for Rory McIlroy. Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas will each pocket $30m. And on and on it goes.
