When you're as stylish and classy as Art Williams, you can get away with an Instagram handle like @thedopeinfluencer. But survival was the only thing on Art's mind in the first twelve years of his life. Well, survival, football and, eventually barbershops. Now a staple in Portland's black community, Art is not only the owner of a successful barbershop that is extensively involved in charities and programs that help minorities level up, he does double duty as the personal barber to former 10,000 NOs podcast guest, Actor Aldis Hodge. A former professional football player, Art travels back and forth from far-off sets not allowing them to prevent him from being a major influence of stability in a formerly challenged community. When he's not busy cutting hair, he is constantly inspiring others to exceed the expectations of their given circumstances the way he did. It is not the critic who counts. If you’ve been knocked down... get up, dust yourself off, and get back in the arena.
