Meanwhile on the streets of Melbourne an act of “kindness” has gone viral for two very different reasons, and we’re digging into our reactions to performative charity and who it targets. And a piece on the “end of ambition” has us thinking about the cumulative effect of everything that’s hit us over the past two years, and how it’s shifted us, across generations, forever.
