Bobby Hoppe of Chattanooga, Tennessee was the first All American Football player. He was offered full ride scholarships to almost 20 colleges around the southeast. He decided to go with Auburn University. On a weekend home from college his senior year, he had a scary encounter with a bootlegger named Don Hudson.
