Her aim was to unite all Canadian targeted parents on social media to bring about changes to Canada's federal Divorce Act. Monique is a Calgary, Alberta native and the daughter of Dutch immigrants. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a BA in English in 2006 and has over a decade of experience as a technical writer in the male-dominated STEM fields.
