Conquer Through Faith! | Word of the Lord 2024

At the start of each year, we take time to listen to the Lord for a specific word for the journey ahead. We recognize that we are called to live by the whole counsel of God and the entirety of the Scriptures. The Word of the Lord highlights a key message for the road ahead, as we continue to walk by faith in God and His Word.

Conquer Through Faith! Take your ‘Jerichos’ and subdue adversaries, through faith in God. ‘Jerichos’ represent what God has already promised for you either through His written Word or a word He has spoken to you by His Spirit. Follow the instructions God has given us on how to exercise faith in God. Sometimes following God’s instructions may not seem very logical from a natural standpoint. But stay with His Word. Stay with what He has instructed you to do. You will be able to conquer through faith. Our adversaries are spiritual (Ephesians 6:12). In 2024, subdue every scheme and attack of the enemy to steal, kill and destroy. Through faith, subdue every work of the enemy. Take back everything the devil has stolen. Pull down every stronghold, even if it seems “bigger and greater” than you. To “Conquer Through Faith” to take our ‘Jerichos’ and subdue adversaries, we need to build strong faith in God. Build your faith muscle by feeding on the Word, speaking the Word and acting on the Word of God. Be determined to stand on God’s Word and conquer. Remember who God is. He is the God who goes before us and breaks through everything that obstructs us and gives us the breakthrough.
