On the evening of January 13th, 2012 - Friday the 13th - passengers on the Costa Concordia cruise ship were unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. But only a few hours after the ship departed Civitavecchia, Italy, they were left to fight for their lives after the ship hit the coast of a Tuscan island and began to sink.
