Dave Gorman started stand-up in 1990 and after a few years on the circuit, started writing on shows like The Fast Show and the Mrs Merton Show. Dave became known to a wider audience with the success of his show Are You Dave Gorman? Which was made into a BBC Two series, The Dave Gorman Collection, and a best-selling book. His other TV shows, books and tours include Dave Gorman's Important Astrology Experiment, Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure, Genius (also on Radio 4) and the very popular TV show Modern Life Is Goodish, on Dave which ran for for five series. In 2020, Dave began setting cryptic crosswords The Independent, The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian. His latest standup show PowerPoint to the People, has just finished a sell out national tour.
