Welcome to episode 349 of Sexology Podcast! Today I am delighted to be speaking with Ruth Ramsay about strip teasing, ways to create a contrasting story or role to spice things up, how you can experiment with personas for excitement and the importance of prior communication to prevent discomfort.    In 2001, Ruth Ramsay began her journey at the London School of Striptease, forsaking journalism for the empowering allure of the art. Over 12 eventful years, she danced, performed globally, taught, modeled, and advocated for adult entertainment workers' rights. She also championed erotic rights for people with disabilities, earning an Erotic Award.     During this time, Ruth learned unexpected lessons in sexual empowerment. As a striptease teacher, she saw students bloom and audiences embrace their sexuality. This journey boosted confidence and joy across life's facets.     After meeting her soulmate, Ruth left the erotic industry, prioritizing her stepfamily and fitness training. When her stepchildren left for university, she turned to transformational life coaching, lighting the way for others on matters of sexual happiness and identity.     Ruth seamlessly merges her experiences with coaching, providing a safe space for clients to explore desires. Her journey amplifies her non-judgmental approach. Her dance background nurtured unflappability and compassion. Guiding individuals toward sexual and overall empowerment now brings her the fulfillment dance once did.       In this episode, you will hear:   Crafting a narrative breaks routine which can be exciting for a long-term relationship. Ways to create a contrasting story or role to spice things up. How Ruth shifted from strip tease artist to sex educator and coach The challenges in teasing relationships, emphasizing timing and communication. Looking at teasing and seduction adds playfulness and depth. How you can experiment with personas, and scenarios for excitement. Make sure to prioritize your pleasure and excitement too. How the narrative approach engages both partners and builds anticipation. Embrace creativity, communication, and vulnerability for reconnection. The importance of prior communication to prevent discomfort. Why you should keep learning and experimenting in teasing to deepen understanding.       Instagram  https://www.instagram.com/sexologypodcast    Competition Winners  Eric Kenneth Barry Sutton  Brendan McDonnell  Jim Kamp   Sexual Health Alliance Program  https://sexualhealthalliance.com    Podcast Produced by Pete Bailey - http://petebailey.net/audio
