Nurses, why do you nurse? We need to keep in mind that nursing is about the patient. And then, when you get home, life can be about you! This next guest offers a wonderful perspective on the blend of art and science and nursing. Lisa Grover RN, BSN-BC has been a nurse for thirty years, mostly in the subacute rehab area. She is married, has 3 grown children, and no grandkids yet. Lisa attended Salem State University for undergraduate and is currently working on her MSN at SNHU so that she can be a better teacher for her first-year nursing students. A few take aways from our interview with Lisa Grover RN, BSN-BC include: How following a routine is most important during a frazzled nursing day; What a decision about a new job can teach you about listening; And why every department in nursing needs to work as a team!
