October's consumer price index was flat and inflation slowed but prices of goods remain high. Besides the high prices at the grocery store, consistently high inflation means interest rates, home loans and financing for a new car will all remain high. While the CPI showed inflation was increasing at a slower rate, how and when will Americans see a decrease in everyday expenses?
