Despite enduring significant personal and physical hardships, including losing his livelihood and facing severe depression, Brian chose to advocate for change. He took it upon himself to draft legislation aimed at closing legal loopholes that had allowed such negligence to occur unaddressed for decades. His relentless efforts culminated in the passage of a bill that promotes transparency and accountability within the VA, ensuring no other veteran suffers a similar fate.
