Tim grew up loving sports and was first introduced to the idea of being a sports journalist from a homework assignment in high school. He went on to attend the University of Michigan on an engineering scholarship, but he had grown a love for sports journalism, so he joined the school’s newspaper. Tim catapulted working for Michigan’s school newspaper to a job with the New York Times and his current role with Sports Illustrated.
