Gaza maritime corridor could begin at weekend, EU says

The European Union, US, Britain and the United Arab Emirates have all signed up to support the formation of a new maritime corridor from Cyprus to get desperately needed aid deliveries into Gaza. The EU Commission President said a pilot operation would start soon. It's part of accelerating efforts to relieve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as Israel continues its offensive.
