This week, I bring you my interview with Laurie Palau from Simply B Organized. Laurie Palau. Laurie will give us some insight as to how she has created this community but we’ll specifically be discussing organization with children. We may have the highest hopes for getting our homes organized but then we must deal with the clutter that derives from our kiddos. How do we encourage our kids without coming across as a nag? How do we set boundaries as our kids age? How do we implement new rules with our older, high school aged children? Laurie will answer all of these questions and more in our interview today!
We Discuss:
When to begin to implement organizational strategies for our children.
How to remain motivating rather than nagging our children.
Best strategies for encouraging:
Adolescent children
Middle school children
High school children
Implementing new 'rules' for teenagers that are already established in 'their ways'
Setting appropriate boundaries that encourage independence but still allow adult control.
