Today's guest, Aaron Brown, has really been an inspiration to Carla. She has  watched how much growth he's done in his business, in a very short amount of time. Aaron has a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. After graduating, he worked at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco. While working there, found a mentor, in the sales department. He joined her company, quit his job, got his license- and then the crash came. He left there in 2008 and spent a year working in the Real Estate Industry. Finally, in 2009, his career caught traction and took off and by the end of that year, he had sold twenty-four houses. Listen in today, and find out how he made that happen and how he's grown since then.   Today, Aaron talks to Carla about:   What caused the change from barely selling anything, to success. What brought him to the Grubb Company. Some of the challenges that he has to deal with. What he does to become more present in his life. His most efficient and effective time of day. His personal philosophy about sales and the story about the salesman who sold him his wife's engagement ring. The two fearless, young Vietnamese girls who were determined to buy a triplex in East Oakland. Where he gathers his strength and inspiration, when the going gets tough. His favorite book, Now, Discover Your Strengths by Marcus Buckingham. His advice to a younger version of himself, about Real Estate. The importance of doing what you love.   Recommended books: The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod                                              and                                 Now, Discover Your Strengths by Marcus Buckingham
