There are all kinds of stats out there stating the average time it takes to learn something new. I think of myself as “above average” so I “should” learn quickly. When I don’t learn something right away, you can count on frustration and lack of patience showing up quickly. In this episode I share some reasons why it takes longer than we would hope to build a new way of doing and how we can override our bodies protection mechanism to learn more quickly and install neural pathways that last.
