Every single person faces fear, worry, anxiety, or stress. And these are especially familiar feelings among entrepreneurs. So much is on the line. Will I have the finances? Will I have the support I need? Is this idea good enough, and will it have profitable longevity? Will this be successful?

Alli Worthington joins us on this week’s podcast episode to talk about combating these heavy–and sometimes crippling–experiences that make us doubt our abilities as entrepreneurs.

Alli’s latest book is Fierce Faith: A Woman’s Guide to Fighting Fear, Wrestling Worry, and Overcoming Anxiety. But don’t think that the contents are only beneficial for women.

In this episode, Alli and I talk about how fear, worry, anxiety, and stress keep us from starting our pursuits as entrepreneurs. As a full-time work-at-home-mom with five children, she has experienced several points in her life that she could have let her emotions and her mindsets limit her. Instead, she called the weaknesses out for what they were and replaced them with stronger more enabling emotions and mindsets.

Alli approaches this “fierce” way of attacking those crippling emotions with her faith. Regardless of your personal belief system, the age-old values she reminds us of hold true.

There are the simple and practical answers for the complicated times of stress, anxiety, and fear.

When you are feeling insecure or under stress, what is your source of confidence? How do you recalibrate and take charge of your day again?

What is your battle plan for attacking fear, and what is an individual plan for yourself?

If you’re ready to hear how you can take the bull by the horns and fight fear and stress in your own life, sit back and soak in these encouraging truths!
