Connor is officially in the mid-20’s, and Brandon is here to guide him through this serious change of life. Then, it’s all about the best Instagram advice for capturing your shredded physique. We talk the best lighting, capturing your best angles, setting up your page to attract girls, show value in business, and the pro insider tools that are the next best thing to actually getting ripped. Break out the coconut oil, and dive right in.   Key Takeaways: [7:05] We have some huge plans for Adonyx Clothing. We are switching manufacturers and making things better than ever, so stay tuned. [11:12] When taking an Instagram fitness shot, make sure the lighting is key. We like the lighting best when it is overcast, and you’ll look way more shredded than with the sun directly in your face. The tanner you are, the more you can get away with more intense lighting. [13:33] We are looking for down lighting just about 30 degrees in front of us to highlight our physique. Lighting for a regular selfie is different than what is ideal for a picture that highlights how ripped you are. [17:10] One of the best ways to make your physique instantly look better — put some oil on yourself. Brandon lubes himself up with just a little coconut oil before his video shoots, and we recommend the chest, arms, and abs as a start. [19:31] Instead of taking a photo on your iPhone, try to take a video and grab your best screenshot. If you are going to use your phone, we’ve seen the best quality photos come from the Google Pixel 2. [23:43] Get to know your body structure, and get familiar with the variations that highlight your best angles. [26:52] Brandon reveals some never heard before secrets on his double bicep pose. [28:37] You want your Instagram to be part of a theme, and not confusing to your followers or fans. [29:42] Shirtless selfies are cool every now and then, but throw in a pic of yourself and your friends every now and then so it raises your value and shows that you have a life and are successful in business. [32:40] When you are seen having fun and traveling with cool people, it shows people that you have value to give. It’s cool if you can make your picture you hanging on a boat with Will Smith, but if that’s not possible even just normal friends will work just fine. [35:58] iPhones work great during the day in natural lighting, but if you are taking photos in the dark or at night you are going to have to look into another camera. [37:42] Angles and lighting count with video too. A benefit of having an actual camera is you can see what you are filming, and we advise against using the selfie angle when vlogging. [44:26] There’s nothing wrong with touching up photos, but it’s weird when you post something unrealistic and warp the way you look.     Mentioned in This Episode: Connor Murphy Talks YouTube page: @ConnorMurphyTalks Brandon’s YouTube page: @HighLifeWorkOut @KingKeto — Brandon Carter on Instagram @ConnorMurphyOfficial Adonyx Coaching Lean-Phuck Work for Connor Connor24 for 24% off all supplements on the BroLab Site @AdonyxClothing Google Pixel 2 Vince Del Monte PowerShot G7X Sony Alpha A200K Bella Rahbek Facetune Smartrecord Continual Want to send Connor some birthday gifts?
