We've got our work cut out for us. A little less than half of Americans are blind to institutional -isms that are all to clear and apparent to the rest of us. We need to dig deep. Start and continue conversations with these people. They are not all bad, they are just unaware and are ruthlessly holding on to an American Dream Ideal that excludes/disheartens a majority of Americans. This ideal is buried into the psyche of those privileged enough to accept this ideal as a universal truth. It is not. We need to skillfully target and awaken our fellow Americans. It is our duty. We have come this far, we cannot let this set back defeat us. I have started a series on The Hot Chick Politic Show about Racism. My goal is to give everyone conversational tools and confidence to communicate with one another on a deeper level of understanding than ever seen before on this planet. Each podcast is 8 min in which I read excerpts from books that everyone should read about -isms. Starting with racism. This first series is featured a book named "Why are All the Black Kids Sitting Together In The Cafeteria?" By Beverly Tatum This can be sort of like a book club. I will introduce books, Read excerpts for those who want the edited version, And encourage open dialogue throughout. We are in this together, Tami Diane Click on the link on my page for the latest podcast
