On the night of February 2nd, 2017, Penn State sophomore Tim Piazza was excited to spend his first night at his new fraternity house. He had no idea that he wouldn’t leave the Beta Theta Pi house alive. For hours, the brothers left the severely intoxicated and injured pledge to die on their floor. But Tim’s tragic and needless passing is far from the only hazing-related tragedy at Penn State.
