Today we are joined by Amber Smith, a mom, wife, and survivor of the Route 91 Harvest music festival mass shooting. The gunman at Mandalay Bay unleashed bullets for 11 minutes into the festival. It became one of the most deadly mass shootings in the US.
Amber of course is so much more than just a survivor, and we are here to talk to her about her experience surviving Route 91 and PTSD.

On a night in October, Leona Kinsey met a man in a supermarket parking lot and she hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

At the time of her disappearance, Leona Kinsey was 5’2’, 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was of Native American and Caucasian descent with an almond colored complexion. She had small scars on the outside of both feet and next to her pinky toes and pinky fingers. She had a tattoo on her bicep of a tomahawk and a peace pipe crossed over each other. She wore glasses however they were left at her house.

MISSING: Leona Kinsey

In June of 2013, Tempe, Arizona was rocked when 19-year old college student Adrienne Salinas disappeared. Two months later, her remains were found in the desert, thirty miles away. More than a decade later, her killer has never been found.

MURDERED: Adrienne Salinas

Today on the Murder Diaries, we have the ever-inspiring Jane Boroski, who survived an attempted murder attack by the still unidentified Connecticut river valley killer. Her life was forever altered on what started out as a typical August day in 1988. 22-year-old Jane was seven months pregnant and making her way home from an evening at a local summer fair in New Hampshire. She made a pit stop at a convenience store to grab a soda and was assaulted after a strange man approached her car. Jane and her unborn daughter were left for dead after being stabbed 27 times. 
This is Jane's story.

Survivor of a Serial Killer: Jane Boroski

Indigenous women continue to fall victim to homicide at alarmingly high rate. Sabrina Rosette was murdered and found in the driveway of a community member, but her case seemed to turn cold just days after her body was discovered. Will her family find closure and justice, or will Sabrina become one of the hundreds of Indigenous women whose cases are left unresolved?

When Rhoda McFarlane went to work on a freezing day in February, she opened the store she managed and started her shift. 8 minutes later, an armed man entered the store and held her, and 5 other women hostage before fleeing the scene.
