‘Ignorance is bliss’ is a popular saying that many people tend to take for granted, to the point where it has lost its original meaning. Thomas Gray, who is an English poet, talked about childhood bliss when he gave birth to the line. In a time where ‘knowledge is power’, is ignorance truly bliss? Or maybe in complicated situations, that are presented to us in this chaotic life, maybe it is blissful to be unaware.
