What does it take to run the entire length of Africa South to North?

Russ Cook is taking on an endeavor that has been accomplished by no person in history. It’s not only the most epic challenge anyone is taking on right now but “Project Africa” is also hands down, easily the best series on YouTube!! (Seriously, if you’re not watching it, start immediately!!) The “Hardest Geezer” has spent over 270 days running over nearly 12,000 kilometers through 13 countries and the adventure has been completely breathtaking so far!

This week I was lucky enough to sit down and chat with Jarred Karp, one of the filmmakers and crew members supporting Russ as he grinds out the kilometers day after day, month after month.

In this episode, Jarred and I talk about his journey into filmmaking, how he got involved with Project Africa, and the ups and downs of the journey so far!

This is a conversation about creativity, the obstacles faced in adventure and filmmaking, being audacious enough to cross the entire continent of Africa, and the athlete brave enough to take it on and the filmmakers telling his story.
