July 14, 2018: Festival Napa Valley with Sonia Tolbert

Taste:This year Taste of Napa is featuring a performance by Carlos Reyes, renowned harpist and violinist. Carlos is bringing a great friend of his to perform alongside. This friend is vocalist Tony Lindsay, Santana's lead vocalist for many years! This is a special appearance. Carlos and Tony will perform at 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. as an FYI: Ryan Scott will be interviewing Carlos around 12:30. 

In addition to the spectacular performance, Taste of Napa features over 70 wineries, restaurants and artisans for $99 per person. This is the only event of it's kind in Napa Valley where you experience great food, beverage and music for one price. 

The venue for Taste, Vista Collina is a brand new resort opening in Napa Valley. We are very excited to be the first large event hosted at this new resort.  Concert for Kids:The Concert for Kids supports our Arts for All programs and in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Napa valley, Concert for Kids is an exclusive private concert and bi-lingual interactive session featuring Festival Napa Valley artists. This year the concert will be held at the brand new Boys and Girls Club in American Canyon. Our featured musicians, Grupo Compay Segundo, come to us straight from Havana for the first time in 20 years. Led by legendary Cuban guitarist, singer, and songwriter Compay Segundo until his death in 2003 at the age of 95, this classic Cuban ensemble is now conducted by his son, bassist Salvador Repilado, who performed with his father on the famous Buena Vista Social Club recordings. Maracas-playing lead vocalist Hugo Garzon also joins Repilado, along with two clarinetists, two singing guitarists, a percussionist and a harmonica player. Bernstein Centennial:The Bernstein Centennial: Selections from West Side Story, features two amazing opera singers soprano Larisa Martinez and tenor Michael Fabiano. We are celebrating Leonard Bernstein's centennial with music from one of America's signature works: West Side Story.

Following the concert, we are hosting a Wrap Party at Kitchen Collective in Napa (America's first private club for cooking enthusiasts). There will be food, wine and a silent disco! Lot's of dancing will happening this evening.
