Red Flags – circumstances or facts that need me to look closer. Look at any investigating that has already been done to see if any gaps need to be filled. Along with that, get a good understanding of everyone involved in the investigation to see their training and expertise level. Red is often used as a warning color because it’s a color that grabs your attention. In an investigation, red flags grab your attention because they don’t fit the given narrative of the case. The deaths of Kadie Major, her infant daughter River, and her unborn son Aadon have a lot of red flags. I’ve asked investigators Mark, Mike Kenney, Jay, and Lauren Marin to discuss these with me.
