Remember when we were little kids and we couldn't wait until Christmas when we could open our presents? Most of us were not waiting an entire year but we sure got excited once the Christmas tree when up. We wanted to know what we were getting so that we could enjoy it until the next Christmas, but not long after Christmas, we would soon forget. I wonder how many times throughout the Old Testament people were wondering when the Deliverer would come and then forget and not worry about it anymore. Many probably thought that God did not care and that He was only an impersonal god like all of the gods of the surrounding nations. We have the benefit of hindsight. We know what happened and when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the Law. Today's lesson talks about this very thing. God is faithful and no one can stop Him from being so.

We have finished with the first step of God’s redemptive plan. There is more but we are going to take a break in order to consider what the next steps will be in revealing the rest of His plan. Also, I will give you my final thoughts for now. Enjoy.

Lesson 083 - Final Thoughts

What more could be said than was said in the last lesson. The work of redemption was complete, God's promises were fulfilled, God won and Satan lost, as usual. So is this the end of the story? Not by a long shot.Jesus had fulfilled all that His Father wanted Him to do but He was not finished yet. There was one more objective to accomplish and it was going to include another group of people. Let's see what He had in mind.
