The culmination of Pharaoh's pride and rebellious heart are evident in this lesson. His actions resulted in the destruction of a nation. No person's choices affect only themselves but all those around them and the greater the authority, the greater the consequence. Just as Pharaoh, who was the leader of his country, affected all those under him, so Moses' choice affected his country also. His leadership saved a country while Pharaoh's leadership destroyed his. Since Pharaoh depended on his own resources, then all he could expect was his results. Moses, on the other hand, depended on God's resources and God was the One who fought for Israel. Pay careful attention to the choices of these two men.

We have finished with the first step of God’s redemptive plan. There is more but we are going to take a break in order to consider what the next steps will be in revealing the rest of His plan. Also, I will give you my final thoughts for now. Enjoy.

Lesson 083 - Final Thoughts

What more could be said than was said in the last lesson. The work of redemption was complete, God's promises were fulfilled, God won and Satan lost, as usual. So is this the end of the story? Not by a long shot.Jesus had fulfilled all that His Father wanted Him to do but He was not finished yet. There was one more objective to accomplish and it was going to include another group of people. Let's see what He had in mind.
