Remembrance day isn't fixed to November the 11th as much as it is fixed to a particular war as time passes by.
Time itself is a convention and we use to mark it using we came to call timepieces.
A watch. And there's a watch in Peter's house which can tell a hell of a story.
Curiously enough, the formation of memories doesn't necessarily require that we directly lived the facts we come to remember. By extension, neither it require us to have seen them with our very eyes.
