It’s the season premiere! This week, I’m talking to Dr. Carrie Kholi-Murchison (she goes by Kholi). Kholi is an entrepreneur and growth strategist that helps define brands and growing communities. She serves as Executive Director of HOLI. BRANDS, a think tank and education production company working to enhance the quality of life for historically marginalized communities. She’s also the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Whole30. She holds a PhD in Literatures in English, where she studied transhistorical theories of change and revolution.  In this episode, Kholi and I discuss how much context and language matters, her personal struggles with identity and race, how we can do diversity and inclusion better, and making space for everyone (not just for optics, but truly making space and opportunities for everyone).  Here’s Kholi:        Show Notes:   Episode 132: Digital Minimalism + The Power Of Solitude With Cal Newport  Digital Minimalism: Choosing A Focused Life In A Noisy World Dr. Carrie Kholi-Murchison’s Website + Instagram  Holi Brands  Big Dreams, Tiny Details  Hella Black Brunch  Everyday Devotion Whole 30 **** One Part Plant CookbookKnow Your EndoOne Part Podcast Family Community Page ***** This episode was also supported by Amazon.
