#254: Mattel movies, Adele dares you, Beige-fluencers

Myf and Zan are back and Zan has the goss from the Barbie press conference in Bondi last week. It’s the first film to come from Mattel’s film arm, but it certainly won’t be the last. We discover the plans for Polly Pocket, He-Man, and some toys you never imagine could be movies.

People are throwing more unhinged stuff on stage, and we try to understand this cultural “moment”, meanwhile women can finally wear non-white undies at Wimbledon. That’s progress.

And speaking of shades, why is everything so goddamn beige these days? A ripper piece on “beige-fluencers” has us looking into the motivation to be in control. And bland.
