Boris Micka is a Czech architect born in Kromeříž (Czech Republic). Since 1992, he has been the director of GPD - Museums and Exhibitions, a prestigious company located in Seville, Spain. 

In 2002, Boris Micka changed the concept of museums in Spain when he designed the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ) which later obtained Europe´s Museum of the Year Award (EMYA 2003). His creations have set new values in the entire museum world through the use of theatrical scenographies combined with modern technologies.

Having become a key reference for museography, Boris Micka participates each year giving lectures at conferences and universities or writing articles for specialized publications. 

One of his latest creation is the Saudi Arabia Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo 2010 which has been one of the most visited Pavilion of the Expo.
