Chris Mongenias was the Overall Winner of the second Canadian stop of the 2011 MAKE IT COUNT Contest Series, which took place at South Parc Skatepark in Montreal, Quebec. Chris will join the contest winners from all over the world at the finals at Element YMCA Skate Camp in June, along with a trip to The Berrics.

It's a rare thing these days, in the age of the internet and all, when you can honestly say an amateur skater paid his dues to earn what he's got, but for Nick Garcia, there's nothing truer than that. Skating his ass off, and getting noticed the old fashioned way. "The harder you work the luckier you get" and with that said, we are proud to introduce Element's newest pro, Nick Garcia.

While following Amateurus for Future Nature, we ended up in the jewel of the equator, Costa Rica. We trailed the pod from the sunken seas to the highest mountain tops, surrounded by a volcanic skyline.
