In 1942, Stanley Lovell, a respected industrial chemist, found himself thrust into a world that could have been pulled straight from a James Bond film. Leading a team of covert scientists, Lovell's primary mission was to develop surreptitious tools and devices for the OSS, which later became the CIA. The team's most noteworthy creations included bat bombs, suicide pills, combat knives, silenced firearms, and disguised explosives. One this episode we will explore some of their most peculiar inventions and discuss their links to the infamous MKULTRA program.

Then for our Plus+ members we hear tales of insectoid intrusions, Australian UFO encounters, and nuclear fox spirits.
