I was entrenched in New Age practices and ideologies for nearly a decade after consulting a medium for the first time when my grandmom tragically died in 2014. This quickly spiraled me into tarot, crystals, reiki, yoga, astrology and more. I was a witch and didn't even know it!
 
 
But despite how many spiritual practices I had, despite all the "self-healing" work I did - it was only ever a bandaid on a gunshot wound. I still had severe depression and anxiety. Until one night in 2021 when I came to the end of myself, ready to end my life, when I called out to Jesus Christ to "save me."

Welcome to Heaven & Healing Podcast.

Formerly known as Moon and Back Podcast, this was once a place of astrology, yoga, new age spirituality and self-healing.

In October 2021, I opened my heart to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior later that year. By December, I was convicted by the Holy Spirit to rebrand my podcast and denounce new age spirituality as I officially declared my identity in Christianity.

On February 22, 2022, Heaven & Healing was officially born.

On Heaven & Healing, I share testimonies from others who have been saved by Christ - from other former new agers, to former witches, former addicts, former atheists and so much more. I also bring on Biblical scholars to share knowledge of the history, context, and meaning of Scripture. Additionally discussed are experiences from my own life, political commentary and cultural discourse as it all relates to God and His Word.

From heroin addict to son of God.
 
 
Cody was in and out of both jail and prison, suffered numerous s*icide attempts, multiple heroin overdoses and went to 5 rehab treatment centers. It was in one of those facilities where Cody gave his life to Christ.
 
 
2+ years later, he is serving for his local church, leading youth group, and evangelizing on the streets.

TAROT IS EVIL!

Catherine actually grew up in the church, where she oscillated between a legalistic mindset trying to earn salvation through works OR a more lukewarm mindset of hyper-grace where she saw sin as no big deal.
 
 
Because of a more cessationist upbringing that denied the healing and power of God for today, she was tempted back to the world over and over again throughout her teenage and college years, never truly surrendering to the Lord until 2019 when she then discovered her spiritual gift of exhortation. This, of course, led to an understanding that despite what she learned in Bible college, the spiritual giftings were indeed real.
 
 
From there, she and her husband went through deliverance and have been walking in freedom ever since, sharing the gospel and ministering to others.
