If you have been selling on Amazon for any amount of time, you have heard the term "gated." Most people see this as a hurdle for their business and others see it as a way Amazon is trying to hurt their business. I look at it a bit differently.
This podcast covers the reasoning behind the gating of certain categories and also explores the reasons you might want to apply to be ungated. I also walk through the ungating process with 3 different case studies to show you what I have learned about the way Amazon operates in regards to their approval process.
