Suzanne talks about parents who pressure their daughters to become high achievers and/or make a lot of money when that is not what they want to do.

IN THIS EPISODE:

3:10  Suzanne reads a message from Dani, a young, twenty-something woman whose parents are pressuring her to get a master's degree and incur student debt, even though she just wants a “normal” life, to get married and have kids. She does not have the support of her family or friends.

4:40  What do most women end up doing in their lives?

5:00  More women graduate from law school than men, but most women end up dropping out way before obtaining partner status which is untrue for men

5:30  In order to get women to the top (which is what feminists want), you have to be able to sacrifice your home life and family

7:00  Parents, stop holding up big careers and money to your kids as something they have to aspire to! 9:30  Women are suffering trying to fit into the box the culture wants them to be in

10:40  What are we here for if not to create bonds and build families?
