05.13.2012 - By David and Carina Anderson – Sailing Podcast Interviews
We have the second part of our interview with Claude Desjardins where he continues telling us about his journey on his 18 foot yacht (Pere Peinard) which he built in his dad’s garage in Montreal from a set of Bruce Roberts plans. In the first part of this interview we heard how once he finished the yacht he sailed south from Montreal to Miami and then on to the Panama Canal
If you missed last weeks episode don’t forget you can go and listen to it on the website or download it through iTunes – just search for “The sailing podcast”. I have put some links onto our website at thesailingpodcast.com/claude with some links to photos of his journey and a couple of links I found on microcruising.com which has Claudes trip listed on it’s “Famous Small Boats" page.
