When you're around the whiskey enthusiast community, you hear about single barrels all of the time. Mostly it is when a club, store, or organization will go into a distillery, sample some barrels and decide as a group which barrel they would like bottled to distribute to their club or following. We should know better by now when it comes to these blinds. You never know what the outcome will be. But I've got to say, this one completely shocked me!  We lined up Blanton's Single Barrel, Blanton's Gold, and Rock Hill Farms against each other in a blind taste test. All three are the same juice essentially, just different ages and slightly different proof. You won't believe who wins this battle!
