This episode is for you if you work on indoor agriculture projects and are asked to specify RO systems to purify the incoming water.

Insight Partners has been a proud representative of Miller Leaman and has had great success in selling and applying Reverse Osmosis water filtration systems in cannabis grow applications throughout the USA.

In this short podcast, we interview our vendor partners David Romeo with Miller Leaman and discuss Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration systems for grow room applications.  Whether you're using tap water for cannabis production or well water, you may want to consider using reverse osmosis for cannabis production.

Why you should use RO water in your Grow Room?

Water quality is essential to proper plant growth. When water quality is off, and there are unnecessary particles or minerals in the water, this interferes with the intake of proper nutrients and water absorption by the plant. Water quality should always be one of the first factors to consider when evaluating plans for a new or existing grow room. Along with helping to keep plants healthy, good water quality will also help to ensure that equipment life is extended, which will cut costs in the long run. No matter what type of water source you’re pulling from, a reverse osmosis (RO) system is essential to properly filter your grow room irrigation water.

Is Using Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Useful In Growing?

Growers opt for purified water, especially if utilizing hydroponic techniques. You will see a difference in water purification techniques, but reverse osmosis (RO) is one of the most effective and reliable methods on the market. RO uses a semipermeable membrane, where even dissolved solids can be removed from a water source. This theoretically makes the water perfectly pure, eliminating bacteria, viruses, and dissolved solids from water. RO is not just used in horticulture. In fact, it’s mainly used to purify drinking water, so why not give your cannabis plants the very best?
