Sarah Andrews studied spatial sciences at university before working for a large engineering company in London. Finding strong links between her scientific studies and design, and has used that knowledge to inform her work on designing interiors. She now runs her styling and hosting school internationally – which has produced an enormous number of successful students, whose work has appeared in many of the world’s best publications.

Ahead of the release of 'Principles of Style', Shanu sat down with Sarah to discuss the science of dealing with the space around us, taking elitism out of design, and more.
