Anya starts to question if she still wants to be evil. She experiences flashbacks showing how she got to this point. When Buffy learns about Anya’s latest trip across the line, she decides it’s time for the slayer to intervene. Xander is suddenly less interested in Buffy kicking someone’s ass when it’s his former-lover-turned-murderer doing the slaughtering.
