The FBI, during a June 2022 raid, found gold with serial numbers matching those reported stolen by Daibes after a 2013 armed robbery, linking the recovered gold directly to Daibes. President Biden's climate envoy, John Kerry, is facing scrutiny for a potential emission of his own during a recent climate change talk in Dubai over the weekend. While passionately advocating for the removal of coal-fueled power plants in the U.S., Kerry seemed to unleash a personal brand of eco-friendly gas. Later, in another discussion, Kerry attempted humor by drawing a comparison between democracy and sex, explaining why he remains optimistic about governments tackling global warming. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, currently in a runoff election for the Houston mayoral seat, released a new ad that appears to have made an unforced error, potentially affecting her chances of winning. After making her case to voters, the ad directed them to hit the polls on Dec. 7 — two days earlier than the actual date of the runoff, which is Dec. 9.
