Despite the challenges she faced, Millicent has emerged as a beacon of hope and resilience. Today, she is not only an advocate for violence prevention but also a life coach, inspiring others to overcome adversity and strive for their best selves. 
We also hear from Ariel B., whose story reflects the struggles and triumphs of a more recent generation. Ariel found the courage to escape her abusive relationship and is now in the process of rebuilding her life.
