Hello Oyster Bay! This week I sit down with Josh Lafazan, the young, energetic Nassau County legislator representing the 18th District, which includes the hamlet of Oyster Bay.

Over the course of a 40 minute conversation, Josh and I discuss his meteoric rise in Nassau County politics, what it means to govern as an Independent in a world of increasingly divisive partisan rhetoric, the challenges of being the only millennial in the Nassau County legislature, his view of the political landscape and what he's been working on lately.
