He and 2 others had been convicted and sentenced in less than 9 days as York County officials hurried to sweep the whole incident under the rug. What is it that made this murder so controversial? In order to even begin to understand this convoluted tragedy full of magic, curses, spells, and witches, we must rewind our narrative backwards to the 1600s. In this game, breaking a mirror releases a wave of bad luck, but if you can survive until morning you’ll be blessed with days, months, or even years of very good luck.
