It's hard to believe, but all signs point to the Nintendo Switch reaching the end of its life. Nintendo will most likely release a new console in 2024, marking the end of the little hybrid console. So, with 2024 being the time to look ahead, I (Dustin) thought it would be a great opportunity to reflect on the Nintendo Switch — the reveal, the release, the best and worst moments, and, of course, the games! Nintendo’s June Direct + Switch 2 Confirmed

Continuing to await official information about Nintendo’s next console, we are gradually starting to see small details leak out, this time from Chinese 3rd party accessory maker Mobapad. Magnet Joycons, How Do They Work?

Welcome back to Punching Up! Apple has changed its App Store policy to allow emulators on iOS devices. With that, we can only assume that the App Store will soon be flooded with NES, SNES, and Game Boy emulators. Given Nintendo's history and recent legal action against Yuzu, the company surely isn't pleased with the decision. However, the biggest question is: will they attempt to make a move against them, even if they have shaky legal ground to do so? In other news, an ex-PlayStation executive has joined Nintendo, and it's been announced that the company will be skipping Gamescom this summer.

Hail to the Peach

Another March 10th has come and gone, bringing with it a slew of new Mario-related announcements from Nintendo. These include new NSO games, two release dates for upcoming titles, Lego sets, and confirmation of a sequel to the Super Mario Bros movie! Additionally, there is a plethora of new awards and nominations for Nintendo from both the BAFTAs and Famitsu. While Nintendo may be rounding out the end of the Switch era with some remasters and remakes, there's still a brand-new game on the horizon: Princess Peach Showtime.
